Description
The main objective of this Partial Plan in the area of Turó de Can Mates is to adjust the Metropolitan General Plan forecast to the current reality of Sant Cugat del Vallés, consolidating a pattern of city that seeks to achieve maximum continuity between consolidated and new fabric growths, thus preventing the formation of isolated and unconnected cores.
Residential land forecast is balanced by a proper proportion of tertiary and commercial useage, an important provision of structures and the establishment of an open space system which is structured from the new urban park Can Mates. This large open space enables the natural environment to become the appropriate framework for satisfying modern citizen needs in their search for leisure areas, sport and culture.
