DescriptionCan Mates Park, with an area of approximately 20 ha, is the open public space that houses the growth of the city heading west. It is a linear park closely linked to the city's green spaces and which connects the historical center with the natural environment.
Due to this aspect, the park is strategically planned as a transitional element. With a complex geometry and topography, it provides a solution to connect the city with a more constructed treatment, geometric and landscaped, through the passage under the Vallvidrera Road. This characteristic is progressively diluted towards more native landscapes, ie. native species and controlled water resources, which formalize roads that invite us to climb to the Turó, a privileged place to view the city, fly a kite or watch the sky during the summer nights.
